Consider/Approve Paper Bid for the 2018 – 2019 School Year

Background Information:

In addition to advertising, we solicited bids from Walmart, Liberty Paper, Lanzer, Inc., Howard D. Happy Co., Contract Paper Group, Inc., American Paper & Twine, J D Distributors, and Staples for the purchase of duplicating paper (700 cases, specifications attached). We received bids for this purchase as follows:

This year’s bids were competitive with Walmart submitting the low bid that met all bid specifications.

Staff Recommendation:

I recommend approval of the lowest bid meeting all specifications as submitted by Walmart.
